Acne-Free Skin Is Within Your Reach Today

A mask containing equal parts of lime juice and ground nut oil can help clear acne. To make the mask, mix equal parts of ground nut oil and lime juice together. You then apply the mask to the affected area.

If you typically wear makeup, avoid wearing it for a few days. You can also treat acne by switching to a foundation that is water-based. The temptation to cover your blemishes with makeup should be ignored, as this can only clog your pores and make your breakouts worse. Your pores will stay clear and clean if you stay away from makeup.

Avoid oil-based cosmetics when possible. There is agreement among makeup experts and the medical community that greasy makeup can clog pores and worsen acne. It is also one of the biggest contributors to acne issues. Not all products which claim to be oil-free live up to their claim. A lot of these products contain synthetics that can irritate skin or clog pores and prompt breakouts.

Don't touch the areas that are affected when you're fighting acne. Touching your face can only make your acne worse by spreading the dirt and oil that is causing it. Be aware of how much you touch your face and try to break bad habits. You touch your face without realizing this constantly. Sitting with your chin on your hand, touching your nose and various other actions can increase acne problems.
