Getting rid of acne on your body can be a challenge. Sweat agitates body acne, so make sure you shower often, and use a body wash that is medicated.
Avoid tanning, even in a sunbed, while dealing with an acne problem. Direct exposure to sunlight or to a tanning light will worsen your acne. The unnatural light that comes from sunbeds is no different than sunlight, so it will have the same unhealthy effect on your acne. Tanning is pretty much a bad idea if you have acne.
Stress is closely related to acne. Stress causes a body to produce certain hormones, one of them being cortisol. The high concentration of hormones can irritate your skin and result in breakouts. Of course it is not possible to rid all stresses from your life, but there are ways of dealing with it effectively.
You should wear clothes made from natural materials, and dress according to the weather. Not only can synthetic fabrics trap sweat next to the skin during hot, wet weather, but those weather conditions themselves can aggravate some people's acne problems. Physical stress can occur when the wrong clothing is worn during temperature extremes. Choose your close wisely to alleviate this type of stress.
